Terms of Service

EQuran School is operated by EQuran Team LLC.

By enrolling in our regular classes, you explicitly agree to these Terms of Service, including any future updates or amendments (collectively referred to as the "Agreement").

1. Scheduled Classes

Your classes will be held strictly on the agreed-upon scheduled days and times. Our standard live, one-on-one online sessions have a fixed duration of 30 minutes unless otherwise explicitly stated.

2. Absence Policy

Consistent attendance is essential to respect our teachers' schedules and ensure your continuous learning progress. Tutors dedicate their time exclusively to your designated time slot. Our absence policy is as follows:

• Advance Notice Required: If you are unable to attend a class due to rare, genuine situations such as illness or unexpected emergencies, you must inform the academy administration or your teacher at least 2 hours before the scheduled start time.
• Unexcused Absences: If you fail to inform us at least 2 hours in advance, the class will be marked as an unexcused absence, the session will be permanently lost, and no make-up class will be provided.

3. Rescheduling Classes

We understand that schedules change, and our tutors will do their best to accommodate your needs under the following conditions:

• Eligibility: A make-up session will only be arranged if the academy or teacher is notified of the absence at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled class time.
• Monthly Limits: To maintain academic consistency and schedule stability, rescheduling requests are strictly limited to a maximum of twice (2 times) per billing month.
• No Carry-Over: All valid make-up classes must be rescheduled and successfully completed within the same billing month. Missed classes cannot be carried over or credited to the following month.

4. Student Late Arrival Rule

To ensure that all students receive their full dedicated learning time, students are expected to log in and be ready for class promptly at their scheduled start time.

• Teacher Waiting Period: If a student is delayed, the teacher will remain online and wait in the virtual classroom for a maximum of 15 minutes (half the session duration). After 15 minutes, the teacher will log off, and the session will be marked as an unexcused absence.
• No Class Extensions: If a student joins the class late within the 15-minute waiting window, the session will still end exactly at its originally scheduled time. The class cannot be extended past the regular end time, as this would unfairly delay next students' sessions.
• No Make-up for Lost Time: Time lost due to a student’s late arrival cannot be refunded, credited, or rescheduled as a separate make-up session.

5. Planned Absences and Vacations

If you plan to take a break for a week or a few days due to holidays or family vacations, you must notify the administration at least 7 days in advance. This allows us to manage our teachers' schedules accordingly.

• Standard Monthly Fee Applies: Because our monthly fee is a flat rate to secure your student's dedicated time slot, the standard monthly fee still applies in full. We do not pause billing, lower the rate, or issue refunds for the weeks you choose to take off.
• Rescheduling Option: To ensure you receive the full value of your paid billing month, you may request to reschedule the vacation-impacted sessions to be taken either before you leave or after you return.
• No Carry-Over: All rescheduled vacation classes must be completed within the same billing month and cannot be carried over into the next billing cycle.
• Prior Notice Required: Missed classes due to a lack of a 7-day advance notice will be permanently lost and are strictly ineligible for make-up sessions.

6. Teacher's Availability and Absences

If your assigned teacher is unavailable to conduct a scheduled class for any reason (such as illness or connectivity issues), we protect your learning time through the following means:

• Substitute Tutors: If available at your scheduled class time, the academy will provide a qualified substitute teacher so your classes can continue uninterrupted.
• Rescheduling: Alternatively, if a substitute is not available, your regular teacher will coordinate and reschedule the missed class within the same billing month at a mutually agreed-upon time.

7. Reporting Issues

If you experience frequent teacher tardiness, technical disruptions, or unannounced missed classes, please report the issue to our administration immediately via WhatsApp, phone, or email so we can take immediate corrective action.

8. Teacher Assignment

The academy reserves the right to change your assigned teacher at our sole discretion if operational needs arise. Students may also request a change of teacher; however, such changes are strictly subject to alternative teacher availability within your desired schedule.

9. Schedule Adjustments

If your current class schedule is no longer working for you, you may request a class schedule change. The adjustment will be granted immediately if your desired time slot with the same teacher is available. If that specific slot is full, you may need to wait until a suitable adjustment can be made or accept a different tutor.

10. Schedule in Ramadan

We accommodate the sacred month of Ramadan. If your regular class time conflicts with Ramadan prayers, Suhoor, Iftar, or Taraweeh prayers (either for the student or the teacher), your class timings will be temporarily shifted and adjusted by mutual consent.

11. Teacher Resignation and Termination

If your teacher resigns or their contract is terminated by EQuran School, the academy will assign a new, qualified teacher to ensure continuity.

• Direct Contact Prohibition: Students and parents are prohibited from maintaining direct personal contact or arranging private, off-platform classes with any current or former EQuran School teacher outside of our official academy communication channels.
• Limitation of Liability: EQuran School will not be held liable for any financial losses, educational disruptions, ethical issues, or damages arising from unauthorized, private communication or agreements made between clients and teachers outside the academy's official framework.

12. Modification of Terms

EQuran School reserves the right to modify, update, or revise these terms and policies at its sole discretion at any time. By continuing to use our services and attending classes following any updates, you agree to abide by and be bound by the modified terms. We encourage clients to review the most up-to-date version on our website periodically.
